Role: Technical Architect- Data
Experience: 8-10+ Years

Work Location: Bangalore / Mumbai
Timings: 11AM - 7PM IST

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering and analytics solutions for enterprise data platforms.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and processing of large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models including metadata, lineage, and technical definitions.
• Architect and implement data warehouse and data lake solutions.
• Define architecture standards, blueprints, accelerators, and interoperability patterns.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Data Architects, Data Scientists, and BI teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement dimensional models, fact tables, and data transformation/cleansing processes.
• Develop scalable and high-performance data processing pipelines for enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data governance, data quality, security, privacy, and lifecycle management standards are implemented.
• Provide production support for ETL processes and ensure data availability and integrity.
• Create technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and architecture artifacts.
• Conduct solution reviews and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
• Mentor and guide data engineers and technical teams across multiple locations.
• Support evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concept initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

Data Engineering & Database Skills

• Strong experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, and Data Integration projects.
• Expertise in ETL/ELT frameworks, OLAP systems, Data Lakes, and enterprise data platforms.
• Strong SQL programming and query optimization skills.

• Experience with:
• Oracle PL/SQL
• MS SQL Server
• PostgreSQL
• MySQL

• Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and architecture principles.
• Cloud & Big Data Technologies

Hands-on experience with:

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• BigQuery
• Cloud SQL
• Composer (Airflow)
• Dataflow
• Dataproc
• Cloud Functions
• Google Cloud Storage (GCS)

Experience with Azure technologies including:

• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
• Databricks

Knowledge of AWS cloud services is a plus.

Integration & Data Tools

• Experience with Informatica and PowerExchange integrations.
• Experience integrating data from Mainframe, Salesforce, ERP, CRM, HRIS, and other enterprise systems.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, XML, JSON, and modern data integration techniques.

Good to have:

• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Dremio

Architecture & Governance

• Experience defining enterprise data architecture and reference frameworks.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, master/reference data, and data quality practices.
• Experience implementing security controls and privacy standards for sensitive data.
• Ability to perform sizing, estimation, and costing for data solutions.
