The position

As an intern, you will join our leading global Investment Banking franchise and gain experience across a variety of projects and initiatives. You will support senior bankers in the Technology, Healthcare, and Tech-enabled Business Services sub-sectors. The position will be based in Munich where you will join a dynamic and growing office of 20 people with a friendly atmosphere.

The internship start date is January 2026 for a duration of 4-6 months.

Responsibilities

Our lean team structure allows our junior team members to enjoy a strong learning platform and assume high levels of responsibility at the early stages of their careers.

You will assist our team members in their daily tasks that will include among others:

  • Supporting the team in client pitches preparation and transaction execution
  • Carrying out company and industry analyses and preparing company profiles across all sector verticals
  • Carrying out analysis of industry trends in M&A and fundraising activity
  • Company valuations using market multiples, M&A multiples and the DCF method.

Your background

  • An outstanding academic track record from a top-tier university in a finance-related Master or Bachelor program i.e. applicants should have completed at least their Bachelor degree by the start of their internship
  • Fluent English speaker and at least basic German speaker (A2 level)
  • Ideally have at least 3-6 months investment banking work experience
  • Strong analytical skills, high motivation, commitment and ability to think broadly about a range of strategic issues confronting the firm’s clients
  • Excellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
  • Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
