Job Title: Tech Analyst - MS Dev, Associate

Location: Bangalore, India

We are seeking a Java Microservices Developer with strong backend engineering fundamentals and a modern AI-assisted development mindset. This role emphasizes leveraging AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Gemini, etc.) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance productivity while building scalable enterprise-grade systems.

AI-Assisted Development (Primary Focus)

Actively leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini) for:

• Boilerplate code generation and API scaffolding
• Automated unit test creation and improving test coverage
• Code refactoring and optimization
• Debugging and troubleshooting assistance
• Documentation generation

Critically evaluate and validate AI-generated code for:

• Security vulnerabilities
• Performance implications
• Enterprise compliance standards

Drive best practices for responsible AI usage in software development

Identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity using AI capabilities

Your key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Java-based microservices using Spring Boot aligned to enterprise standards
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
• Implement microservices design patterns such as Service Discovery, API Gateway, Circuit Breaker
• Deliver small to medium features end-to-end based on business requirements
• Perform root cause analysis, debugging, and production issue resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile SDLC environment
• Work with databases (MS SQL, Oracle) including query writing and optimization
• Support stored procedures and schema understanding
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and artifact management (Artifactory)
• Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing

Your skills and experience

• 2–5 years of backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and design patterns
• Experience working within enterprise SDLC processes
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across application layers
• Java and Spring Boot for microservices development
• Databases (MS SQL / Oracle):
  SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE queries
  Basic stored procedures and schema understanding
• Version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket
• Build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• CI/CD and deployment fundamentals
• Artifact repository experience (Artifactory) - Containerization and Platform Skills
• Docker: Dockerfiles, images, container lifecycle
• Kubernetes basics: YAML configs, deployments, ConfigMaps
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
