As a Warehouse Teamleader, you are an experienced, people-oriented leader who thrives on responsibility and ownership. You work independently, are proactive, and solution-driven. With your approach, you contribute every day to a smooth, efficient, and high-quality logistics operation.

You are directly responsible for managing, coaching, and developing the Assistant Teamleaders and indirectly lead the Allround Warehouse Employees. In this role, you play a key part in the further professionalization of the operation, with increasing responsibilities being delegated to the Assistant Team Leaders.

You ensure the correct execution of all logistics activities in line with established (customer) standards, identify opportunities for improvement and bottlenecks, and take decisive action based on your knowledge and experience.

What will you do?

• Lead (manage, motivate, correct, and train) Assistant Teamleaders and Warehouse Employees;
• Coordinate daily with the planning department;
• Oversee the daily execution of logistics processes;
• Ensure compliance with safety and food safety regulations;
• Maintain order and cleanliness;
• Monitor correct use of internal (transport) equipment and tools;
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize processes;
• Monitor daily progress of operations;
• Participate in various warehouse-related projects;
• Conduct daily briefings during shift changes.

Your profile

• MBO+ level of working and thinking;
• Minimum of 3 and up to 10 years of proven experience in a similar role within a logistics environment;
• Flexible mindset;
• Willing to work in a two-shift system (working hours 6:00–15:00 and 15:00–00:00);
• Clear and accurate communicator (Dutch and English), experienced in leading multicultural teams;
• Driven to improve performance every day;
• Proactive and able to implement initiatives;
• A true team player;
• Experience with internal transport equipment;
• Knowledge of logistics procedures and systems (WMS).
