Your contribution:

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10 software developers across three subteams, promoting a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture focused on maintainable products.
• Agile Product Development: Guide agile software development, ensuring timely, high-quality deliveries, and partner with product owners to define roadmaps and features.
• Architecture & Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and oversight, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards across both legacy and new systems.
• Cloud Infrastructure Coordination: Collaborate with the DevOps engineer to maintain and enhance infrastructure in both private and public cloud environments.
• Effective Communication & Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between development teams, product owners, and other departments, facilitating clear communication and productive collaboration.

What you bring along:

• Leadership Experience: At least 3 years of experience leading and mentoring software development teams.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in software development and architecture (preferably with Python or TypeScript), including domain-driven design, web development, and data-processing applications.
• Database Skills: Profound knowledge in relational database design for operational systems and data warehouses.
• Cloud & Kubernetes Experience: Broad technical experience running applications in the cloud, ideally with Kubernetes.
• Agile & Communication Skills: Deep understanding of agile software development beyond Scrum, with excellent communication skills in English (CEFR C1 or higher) and ideally German, capable of effectively engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
