Job Description


As a Teamcenter Active Workspace Lead, you will:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Siemens Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC) solutions for enterprise PLM environments.

  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs and solution architectures.

  • Develop and maintain Active Workspace configurations using the Declarative UI framework, including JSON-based view models and HTML templates.

  • Drive Teamcenter data modeling activities using BMIDE to support business processes and optimize user experience.

  • Manage deployment activities, environment configurations, and release processes using Deployment Center.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to ensure successful delivery of Teamcenter solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Active Workspace best practices, architecture standards, and implementation strategies.

  • Support system enhancements, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives across Teamcenter environments.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 8–10 years of overall experience with Siemens Teamcenter solutions.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC).

  • Strong expertise in the Active Workspace Declarative UI Framework, including JSON-based view models and HTML templates.

  • Advanced knowledge of BMIDE, including Naming Rules, Deep Copy Rules, Display Rules, and data model customization.

  • Experience creating technical design documentation from business and functional requirements.

  • Strong understanding of Teamcenter deployment methodologies and environment management.

  • Hands-on experience with Deployment Center and release management processes.

  • Solid understanding of Teamcenter architecture, configuration, and customization practices.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

You Should Possess the Ability to:

  • Lead end-to-end Active Workspace implementation and enhancement projects.

  • Design scalable and maintainable Teamcenter solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Translate complex requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.

  • Configure and customize Active Workspace user interfaces and business processes.

  • Develop and manage Teamcenter data models using BMIDE best practices.

  • Coordinate deployments, environment management, and release activities across multiple environments.

  • Act as a bridge between business process analysts and technical implementation teams.

  • Provide technical mentoring and guidance to development and support teams.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and user experience improvements within Teamcenter environments.
