The New England Revolution are seeking a Team Video Analyst for the Revolution- MLS Next Pro team. This role will work with other video staff to aid in video capture, opposition analysis, player scouting, and other soccer-related projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Support the Director of Data and Video Analytics’’ data-based projects with video.
  2. Record, clip, tag and organize daily training for convenient analysis.
  3. Work with the coaching staff to develop a video workflow for opposition analysis and team/individual reflection
  4. Maintain analysis equipment to ensure readiness.
  5. 5. Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 0-2 years of experience recording soccer training and matches with a camcorder (or drone).
  • 0-2 years of experience with different video compressions and export settings.
  • Understands video editing workflow (ingestion, editing, exporting).
  • Experience with video editing software (Angles, Coach Paint, Wyscout and Hudl/SportsCode).
  • Experience playing or coaching soccer ; solid tactical understanding of soccer.Experience with programming languages (python, Javascript/JQuery) is a bonus.
  • Frequent travel, night and weekend availability required.
