Position: Team Coordinator
Location: Chic's beach area of Virginia Beach
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. | On-Call | Exempt

What You’ll Do
- Coach and support a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
- Lead team meetings, set goals, and build a positive team culture
- Ensure quality services, accurate records, and regulatory compliance
- Support individuals with daily living skills and community engagement
- Oversee medical, financial, and recreational supports
- Provide on-call leadership and crisis support as needed
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and billing with attention to detail

Qualifications
Qualifications – What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Experience in human services or a related field (1+ year preferred in a supervisory or leadership role)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Demonstrated ability to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community or residential settings
- Open to person-centered practices and daily living support strategies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, remain calm under pressure, and respond to crisis situations professionally
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
- Comfortable using technology for documentation, scheduling, and communication (e.g., basic computer skills, electronic records)
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job (e.g., lifting, standing, walking, assisting individuals)
- Must meet state and agency background check requirements
