Team Relations Specialist

Vector Talent Solutions is a veteran-owned workforce solutions firm dedicated to helping organizations identify, attract, and hire top talent. We are currently seeking a Team Relations Specialist for a client within the Automotive Manufacturing industry.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Team Relations Specialist for a client within the automotive manufacturing industry. This position plays a key role in supporting hourly team members throughout the employee life cycle, from recruiting and onboarding through employee relations, performance management, and separation. The ideal candidate will be a trusted resource for employees and leaders, helping resolve workplace concerns, conducting confidential investigations, supporting engagement initiatives, and ensuring consistent application of company policies and employment practices.

Responsibilities

• Support employee relations by addressing team member concerns, workplace conflicts, complaints, and other employment-related issues.
• Conduct timely and confidential investigations, including employee interviews, fact-finding, documentation review, and analysis of available information.
• Coach and guide leaders on corrective action, progressive discipline, attendance, performance management, documentation, communication, and professionalism.
• Partner with Human Resources leadership to ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, employment practices, and applicable state and federal requirements.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, new-hire onboarding, orientation, introductory-period evaluations, and the employee termination and exit interview process.
• Facilitate employee engagement, recognition programs, company events, communication initiatives, surveys, and morale-building activities.
• Maintain accurate and highly confidential employee records while providing a consistent presence and employee support on the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or Team Relations; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience within an automotive production or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws, HR practices, employee relations, and workplace policies.
• Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships, collaborate effectively, influence others, and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; SAP/ERP experience strongly preferred.

Compensation

$60 -$70k based on experience
