Create your best future and join Westpac as a Team Member - Payment Services Operations
What’s the role?
As a Team Member in Westpac Institutional Bank Operations, you’ll help deliver a great experience for our institutional clients by supporting their day-to-day enquiries, requests and transactions. You’ll communicate with customers by phone and email, taking ownership of queries and working through them to an appropriate resolution.
You’ll work closely with teams across Westpac, including operations, risk, fraud, phone and branch teams, sharing information and helping resolve customer enquiries. You’ll also build your knowledge of banking processes and systems, support your colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume operational role where you’ll manage a broad range of client enquiries, transactions and operational activities. You’ll need strong attention to detail, sound judgement and a focus on accuracy, particularly when working within risk and regulatory requirements. Strong organisation and time management skills will be important, along with the ability to build positive relationships and communicate confidently with stakeholders across the business. The team works to important daily deadlines, so you’ll need to manage competing priorities and ensure time-sensitive work is completed within required timeframes. From time to time, additional flexibility, including overtime, may be required to meet critical customer, operational and regulatory commitments.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Parramatta. For your first three months, you’ll work full-time from the office while completing your training and learning alongside a dedicated buddy. Once you’ve completed this initial training period, you’ll move to a hybrid working arrangement with two days per week in the office.
What do I need?
You’ll be someone who enjoys helping customers, can manage competing priorities and communicates confidently with a range of people. You’ll bring:
