Job Description

As a Team Member-IT Procurement, you will be an integral part of the SUPPORT SERVICES-CTO Head team, responsible for the end-to-end management of IT procurement activities. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including IT teams, vendors, and internal clients, to understand their technology needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential IT vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Manage the procurement process, including request for proposals (RFPs), bid evaluations, and contract award.
  • Maintain a database of approved vendors and suppliers, ensuring their compliance with bank policies and regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize IT procurement processes, aiming for cost savings and efficiency.
  • Liaise with internal clients to understand their technology requirements and provide expert advice on procurement options.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and legal requirements, maintaining a high level of integrity.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to align procurement activities with the bank's overall technology strategy.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on IT procurement activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT procurement or a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and services, with an understanding of current market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for efficient contract management and tracking.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards, especially in the banking sector.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to stay updated with industry developments and best practices in IT procurement.
