The Role of a Team Member is to process product using various techniques, that require a time served apprenticeship and experience of machining, inspection and NDT, as set out by Technical instructions, Inspection Procedure cards, Engineering drawings and specifications.

Key accountabilities:

  • Carrying out machining inspection or NDT, inspection using various Inspection Techniques on a variety of Blades, Discs, Blisks and Drums
  • Work closely with support functions.
  • Ensuring safe working practices are adhered to at all times.
  • Maintaining high levels of 5s, Housekeeping and Asset care
  • You must be able to work a shift pattern which can consist of regular days, 2 shifts, 3-shifts or a 4 shift pattern depending on workload. Whilst most areas operate on a 3 shift basis, you have to be flexible to the business needs.
  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship/ NVQ Level 3 as a minimum.
  • Previous Inspection experience is preferred although full training will be given
  • Good Levels of numeracy and Literacy
  • Good eyesight
  • Being able to maintain Safe working practices
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a Team

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential
