Job Description

As an hourly Team Member, you will responsible for providing exceptional guest service and support, while working closely with the Restaurant Managers and other Team Members to maintain operational standards and procedures. As an important member of the team and will be supported with the tools and training needed to succeed in our dynamic fast food / quick service organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet guests with a smile, receive orders, process payments and respond appropriately to customer issues
  • Perform quick service restaurant duties at multiple workstations (e.g., front counter, Drive-Thru, prep boards, expediter, etc.)
  • Operate cash register or point of sale devices, as needed, and uses value-added suggestive-selling techniques to generate additional sales opportunities
  • Verify the accuracy of fast food guests’ orders
  • Prepare and package food and drink products
  • Clean kitchen area, counters, food preparation areas and utensils
  • Clean dining room, restrooms and exterior grounds
  • Maintain health and safety standards in work areas
  • Unload and stock inventory items as needed
  • Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts
  • Follow BURGER KING® uniform and grooming standards and policies
  • Work to resolve issues that may arise in the restaurant
  • Learn team effectiveness skills; work with others to achieve team goals
  • Respond to guests’ needs in a professional and polite manner
  • Communicate in a positive manner with customers, peers, and managers

Requirements:

  • Previous fast food / quick service restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we will train!
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Willingness to accomplish all quick service restaurant tasks
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, goal oriented environment
  • Upbeat, positive attitude with great ability to work within a team environment
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • General math skills
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift, lift 30 to 50 pounds and use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
