Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is hiring a Shift Lead for our Rock Hill location, with the opportunity to transfer to our new Creve Coeur store opening in 2026.

This is a leadership role ideal for shift leaders, retail supervisors, grocery team leads, or restaurant crew leads who want flexibility, structure, and advancement opportunity.

Schedule Overview:

This role is built around our busiest service periods:

• Morning shifts typically start between 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Midday and afternoon shifts typically start as late as 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and/or 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Evening shifts conclude by approximately 8:00–9:30 PM
• Work as few or as many days per week as desired (based on availability and staffing needs)
• Some weekend availability may be included

Schedules are flexible and built around both employee availability and peak business demand.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and support team members during assigned shifts
• Ensure food quality, speed, and service standards are met
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
• Follow cash handling and operational procedures
• Assist with inventory and stocking
• Train and coach team members
• Help maintain a positive and professional work environment

This is a hands-on leadership role where you actively support operations during peak hours.

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior leadership experience (restaurant, retail, grocery, warehouse, or similar)
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lead a small team and communicate clearly
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
• Willingness to follow structured systems and procedures
• Must be at least 18 years old

Restaurant experience is helpful but not required. We value dependability and leadership potential.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
• Comfortable working in kitchen and prep environments

Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
