About the Role:Join the dynamic team at Firehouse Subs - Broadway Village/Manhattan Marketplace in Lawrence, KS, where passion for great food meets exceptional service! As a Team Member, you'll play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while working in a fun and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve delicious subs, salads, and sides with a focus on quality and freshness.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests and taking orders accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
• Follow food safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
• Handle cash and process transactions efficiently at the register.
• Engage with customers to promote specials and upsell menu items.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old; previous food service experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks quickly.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for delivering great food and service to customers.
• Must live in or near Lawrence, KS

Compensation: $9.50 - $11.50 per hour
