A Team Member has responsibility for delivering great guest service in many different ways and areas. A Team Member may or may not have direct contact with
the Guest, but contributes to the overall Guest experience in many different ways.
Principal Responsibilities and Key Activities:
Guest Service:
- Interacts with Guests in a professional manner
- Makes eye contact with Guests during all times
- Uses friendly voice tone at all times
- Accurately inputs orders in to register
- Listens to Guests requests ensuring order accuracy
- Gathers components of orders at the heat chute and properly bags or trays orders to give to Guest
- Uses proper parting phrases to welcome Guests to return to restaurant
- Extends welcome to Guests within 3 seconds of arriving to drive-thru order unit or coming through front door
Food Quality
- Prepares sandwiches, drinks, desserts and side items according to Burger King processes and procedures
- Brings any food safety issue to the attention of the manager-in-charge
- Places proper discard dates on open items as well as items that are placed on boards for use
- Uses proper techniques when utilizing kitchen equipment
- Uses proper processes for preparing condiments such as bacon, lettuce, onions and tomatoes
Cleanliness
- Completes cleanliness tasks assigned by manager
- Swiftly cleans and addresses any spill or mess that may cause harm to employee or Guest
- Ensures Guest Contact Areas (parking lot, landscaping, windows, drive-thru pad, dumpster pad, exterior signs/trash cans, all areas of dining room and
restrooms) are clean and clutter free at all times
- Ensures back of house facilities (walls, floors, equipment and ceilings) are clean and clutter free at all times
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be at least 16 years of age.
2. High school diploma or equivalent
3. English language proficiency that enables speech expression clarity and proficient reading and verbal comprehension
4. Ability to perform all tasks outlined here or assigned by management in any area where a team member may be assigned (or willingness to learn these
tasks)
5. Must be able to work days/hours noted on completed application. Any change in availability must be submitted to Restaurant Manager in writing. (change
in availability may change number of hours an individual is scheduled)
CRITICAL RELATIONSHIPS:
1. Reports to Restaurant Manager
2. May be coached by Assistant Manager, District Manger, Director Of People Development or V.P. of Operations
