About the Role

Sutherland is looking for a results-driven Team Manager to lead a high-performing technology sales team. In this role, you will drive sales performance, develop top talent, manage sales pipeline execution, and ensure operational excellence while partnering with stakeholders to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team to achieve sales, productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, and revenue targets.
• Drive B2B sales performance through effective pipeline management and sales execution.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement action plans to drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct coaching sessions, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
• Manage attendance, schedule adherence, and day-to-day team operations.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure client expectations are consistently met.
• Analyze sales and operational performance data to provide actionable insights and improve business outcomes.
• Manage, analyze, and report on sales pipeline metrics and team performance using CRM and business intelligence tools.
• Ensure consistent lead progression through all pipeline stages, from suspect and prospect to opportunity and advanced sales stages.
• Leverage Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, and reporting dashboards to drive data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

Our most successful candidates will have:

Education

• Bachelor's degree in any field.

Required Experience

• Strong background in B2B sales
• Experience managing B2B sales teams
• Prior experience in Sales Development and/or Enterprise Sales environments.
• Proven experience leading sales teams in a BPO, contact center, inside sales, technology sales, or enterprise sales environment.
• Must not have a consumer sales background or consumer sales mindset.

Leadership Experience

• Preferred: 2-3 years of people management experience with demonstrated success in coaching and developing sales professionals.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM
• Experience utilizing Salesforce dashboards and reporting
• Working knowledge of Power BI
• Working knowledge of Tableau
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and performance metrics.

Sales Knowledge Requirements

• Strong understanding of sales pipeline management and sales lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with lead progression stages, including:
  • Suspect
  • Prospect
  • Opportunity
  • Advanced pipeline stages
• Ability to manage, analyze, forecast, and generate sales pipeline metrics and reports.
• Strong understanding of enterprise sales methodologies, forecasting, and pipeline governance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cybersecurity industry knowledge.
• Experience selling cybersecurity solutions.
• Understanding of enterprise sales processes and pipeline management.
• Background in technology, SaaS, cybersecurity, or B2B sales is highly preferred.
• Experience managing remote or hybrid teams is an advantage.

Internal Requirements

• Excellent communication, coaching, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Must have completed Phase 1 of TMU
