We are seeking an experienced Team Manager / Tech Lead to lead multiple Data Science and AI (GenAI) teams within a dynamic, high-impact environment. This role is ideal for a leader passionate about building high-performing teams, driving innovation, and delivering scalable analytics solutions in a regulated environment.

Your Role

As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for creating an environment where teams take end-to-end ownership of analytics and AI products—from ideation to deployment. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other tech leads to deliver impactful, secure, and scalable solutions.

You are a proactive leader who thrives in Agile environments, understands risk and compliance requirements, and is passionate about developing people and teams

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Lead and manage 5–7 cross-functional teams (30–50 indirect/direct reports)
• 
  Recruit, mentor, and retain top technical talent
• 
  Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture
• 
  Drive end-to-end ownership of analytics and AI product delivery
• 
  Ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality software delivery processes
• 
  Promote Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and engineering best practices
• 
  Manage risk, compliance, and security requirements in line with regulatory standards
• 
  Collaborate with compliance and security teams to ensure adherence to frameworks
• 
  Oversee budgets, workforce planning, and HR-related responsibilities

Your Profile

• 
  5+ years of experience in a similar leadership role within complex IT environments
• 
  Strong experience in Data Science, Analytics, or AI product delivery
• 
  Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and empower teams
• 
  Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance
• 
  Experience hiring and developing technical talent
• 
  Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices
• 
  Experience with GenAI technologies (hands-on and strategic level)
• 
  Familiarity with risk, compliance, and regulatory environments
• 
  Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch
• 
  Strong organizational skills with experience managing budget, risk, and HR topics
