About the role | Mō te tūnga

Service Delivery Communications supports the delivery of MSD services to New Zealanders through clear, effective and audience-centred communications.

The Communications Channels and Content team delivers communications across a range of channels and formats. The team works with stakeholders across Service Delivery to make sure content is accurate, consistent, timely, accessible and tailored to audience needs.

As Team Manager, Communications Channels and Content, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of communications across channels and content. You will manage workflow and priorities, support multi-channel communications and maintain strong standards for quality, tone and accessibility.

You will provide clear direction to team members, manage workload and delivery priorities, and use performance information and feedback to improve processes and outputs. While your primary focus may be channels or content, you will work across both areas as required to meet team priorities and delivery demands.

You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver coordinated communications that meet business needs and deadlines. You will also support continuous improvement of the tools, processes and practices that strengthen communications delivery across Service Delivery.

What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga

  • Experience delivering communications across content and channels in a complex environment.
  • Practical expertise developing and coordinating content across digital, print and visual formats, with a strong focus on quality and consistency.
  • Experience supporting or leading teams, setting clear priorities and contributing to a positive, inclusive and high-performing team environment.
  • Working knowledge of performance measures, audience insights and feedback, with the ability to use these to improve communications delivery.
  • Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with the ability to deliver coordinated work across teams and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in strategic planning, operational management, project management, financial management and performance monitoring.
  • A commitment to embedding Te Ao Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi in leadership, decisions and ways of working.

Salary | Utu-ā-tau: $122,381.00 - $152,296.00
