  • Support audit planning and audit liaison activities, including coordinating deliverables, responding to auditor queries, and maintaining clear status reporting to stakeholders
  • Serve as a key operational contact for client-facing administration teams and client advisors on accounting delivery topics, helping to manage expectations and resolve day-to-day issues
  • Provide technical leadership, coaching, and support to Accountants and Associate Accountants, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Support the Senior Manager to ensure adherence to standard processes, controls, and documentation expectations; identify opportunities to improve efficiency through standardization and better use of tools/technology
  • Support onboarding, knowledge-sharing, and training initiatives to strengthen team capability and consistency across locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP with experience reviewing financial statements and challenging accounting conclusions constructively
  • Experience in a client-facing accounting environment within financial services, trust/company services, fund services, or professional services
  • Experience supporting audits and working effectively with external auditors and internal stakeholders
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and quality-control skills, with the ability to deliver to multiple deadlines in a regulated environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-location operating model, ensuring clear handoffs and accountability across teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience leading, coaching, mentoring and developing team members
  • Experience with Channel Islands structures (corporate and trust) and related statutory/reporting requirements
  • Familiarity with GFSC expectations and working within an AML/CFT/CPF control environment
