Responsible for overseeing the coordination and facilitation of US Technologist within the US Department to successfully complete provider ordered US procedures and associated tasks according to protocol and by collaborating with Radiologist & Medical Providers as necessary. Functions as an extension of the Manager & Director Medical Imaging to carry out assigned tasks, problem solve, and send equivalent communications. Cooperates with leadership to assist in carrying out essential departmental responsibilities, hospital policies & procedures, and other duties as assigned.
Graduate of an ARRT approved US program or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Registered US Technologist with 2-years’ experience within a hospital setting; 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
ARRT or ARDMS and BLS required
