WHY PATIENTS NEED YOU

The Site Investigations Team Leader Secondment role will be a player/coach role with site-wide responsibilities supporting Quality and EH&S Investigations.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

The position will lead a T1 team of Investigators who conduct Quality and EH&S investigations using Six Sigma and PHP methodology. The identified candidate will continue to build the capabilities of the team through Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and partnership through cross-functional collaboration efforts at the site. The identified candidate will also retain individual contributor responsibilities for conducting triage and investigational support as needed.

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of investigators who coach and execute M1/PHP investigations for Quality and EH&S investigations.

  • Triage incoming investigation requests; lead/coach investigations as needed to support the T1/site goals.

  • Manage the impact of the investigation process by analyzing data and sharing progress, roadblocks and support needs at appropriate forums.

  • Inspire a culture of continuous improvement by partnering effectively with personnel involved in the investigation process.

  • Support the vision of every colleague, every day improving their work processes through a relentless focus on identifying and effectively addressing root cause of incidents.

  • Partner with adjacent organizations to accomplish shared site goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 3+ years ofexperience; OR a master's degree with more than 1+ year of experience;OR an associate's degreewith 6+ years of experience; OR a high schooldiploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years of relevant experience.

  • 9+ years of applicable experience and a BA/BS degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physical/Biological Sciences, Business, Integrated Supply Management, or related.

  • Ability to effectively teach, coach and mentor colleagues.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to influence at all levels of the site.

  • M1 and PHP education and experience.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • This is a 1st Shift Position with support to 2nd and 3rd shift production. Job may require occasional weekend/evening work supporting a 24-hour/7 day operation.

  • Job will include standing, walking, sitting, ability to perform mathematical calculations and complex data analysis. Occasional lifting may be required.

  • If you are currently in a driving position with a fleet vehicle and this secondment does not require driving as an essential function of the position for 12 months or longer, you will be required to turn in your fleet vehicle for the duration of the non-driving secondment.   • There will be no change to your current work location.

  • Position is considered Flexible, and colleagues are expected to comply with Log In For Your Day (LIFYD) requirements at site location (e.g. about 2.5 days a week in office).

  • Note: This secondment offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth. It will need to be funded by the secondee’s home market.
