Ambu is currently looking for a Team Leader, Production to be based in Penang.

Key responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Lead production operations, coordinate production staff and equipment, and ensure the quality andprofitability of products.
• Determine the best and most efficient uses of the available resources, including equipment and labour, to meet production build schedule and goals.
• Hires and trains the workforce for production. Manage and motivate the staff, monitoring them to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
• Analyse any production problems and ensure cost-effective, high quality and timely delivery of products.
• Develop new and cost-effective ways to improve quality, productivity and reduce waste by improving existing processes, providing additional training or adopting better manufacturing processes.
• Handle customer complaints, NCRs, CAPAs and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Suggested candidate profile

Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you:

1. At least a degree in a scientific or relevant discipline
2. Minimum 6 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
3. Knowledge of ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 would be an added advantage.
4. Hands-on, strong leadership and problem-solving skills in manufacturing environment
