The Project Center Cheese, Evaporation & Drying (CED) Europe is seeking a Team Leader – Pre-Project Management to lead a geographically dispersed team of Pre-Project Managers across Europe.
This is a highly unique and strategic role, offering exceptional visibility and insights across customers, competitors, and our full solution portfolio. You will operate at the center of our commercial and technical landscape, bringing transparency across markets and playing a key role in shaping how we prioritise opportunities, structure our offers, and position ourselves to win. Working closely with Market Operations across North, Mid, South, East Europe, France & Benelux, and Iberia, you will collaborate extensively with Business Streams including Cheese, Powder Process & Technology, Evaporation & Drying, New Food, Dairy, Filtration Solutions, Automation & Digital, Key Components, as well as Supplier Management and Services.

• Lead and develop a team responsible for delivering pre-project activities and customer quotations across multiple European markets
• Own and manage the opportunity pipeline for CED Europe, ensuring alignment with tollgate and governance processes
• Partner with Market Operations to prioritise and shape opportunities based on strategic fit, risk profile, and available capacity
• Ensure delivery of competitive, compelling customer offers, leveraging the full integration of Tetra Pak’s product portfolio to maximise customer value and differentiation from competitors
• Balance commercial ambition with execution capability, ensuring projects are set up for successful delivery (time, cost, risk)
• Collaborate with Supplier Management and installation partners to secure quotations that balance cost competitiveness, scope clarity, and delivery certainty
• Drive robust contractual agreements, using standard models to reduce ambiguity, manage liabilities, and mitigate risk, including provisions for unforeseen challenges to protect our delivery teams and profitability from unforeseen challenges
• Ensure strong alignment with Services, to support lifecycle value and long-term customer partnerships
• Optimise pre-project team resources, developing internal capabilities, enabling cross–project centre resource sharing, and managing external partners
• Drive continuous improvement, including adoption of AI and digital tools
• Strengthen standardisation, governance, and ways of working across the pre-project space
• Proven leadership experience or strong potential for a leadership role, with a strong people leadership mindset
• Interest in leveraging AI and new technologies, with openness to working in an international, matrix environment
• Experience within pre-sales, engineering, project delivery, solution development, or related areas
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent sales empathy and the ability to navigate complex customer opportunities
• Highly structured, with strong prioritisation and decision-making capability
• Multilingual, with excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills across an international matrix organisation
• Drivers license
• Expected travel 30% internationally
• An inquisitive and forward-thinking mindset, ready to challenge conventional ways of working and drive innovation
