A. UAT Planning & Coordination
Understand business requirements and migration scope.
Prepare UAT strategy and test approach. Coordinate with business users, product owners, and vendor teams. Define UAT entry and exit criteria.
Review BRDs, FSDs, mapping documents, and migration logic. Prepare UAT test scenarios and test cases covering:
Mandatory experience in banking loyalty and rewards systems, including end-to-end testing of points calculation, redemption scenarios, campaign configurations, and integration with cards, payments, and partner ecosystems. Validate end-to-end loyalty lifecycle, including points accrual, redemption, reversals, adjustments, and expiry processing. Verify accuracy of points calculation logic based on transaction types, customer segments, campaigns, and product configurations e.g., cards, accounts).
Test redemption flows across multiple channels such as online banking, mobile banking, partner portals, and POS systems.
Validate campaign configurations including promotional offers, bonus points, seasonal campaigns, and partner-funded rewards.
Ensure correct mapping and integration between core banking, card systems, and loyalty platforms for seamless reward processing.
Perform reconciliation of loyalty points between source systems and loyalty engine to ensure no discrepancy in accrual/redemption.
Validate real-time and batch processing of loyalty transactions, including delayed accruals and bulk campaign uploads.
Test customer eligibility rules, tier upgrades/downgrades, and benefits associated with different loyalty tiers.
Verify expiry rules, forfeiture logic, and re-credit scenarios as per business policies.
B. Migration Testing
Validate data migration between legacy and new system. Perform UAT and SIT testing migration life cycle and ensuring seamless transition from legacy platform to new system without business disruption.

C. Integration testing
Perform the integration of the system used by the bank. Validate end-to-end integration between core banking system and interfacing application such as credit card system. Co-ordinate with interface teams and vendors for issues reported and data mismatch.
Design comprehensive integration test scenarios covering real-time and batch interactions across systems.
D. Test Execution & Defect Management
Execute UAT test cases. Log defects in defect tracking tool. Perform retesting and regression testing. Track defect status and follow up with vendors. Provide daily/weekly status reports.
Support business users during execution. Clarify functional queries from the business user and technology. Escalate critical issues when required.
E. Reporting & Documentation
Create and maintain test evidence. Prepare and publish UAT Status Reports and defect summary reports. Go-live readiness report and daily status mail and support sign-off process.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Around 7+ years of experience in banking and testing.
Sound knowledge testing (UAT and SIT) of loyalty-based banking / practice and products / services.
Excellent decision-making ability and interpersonal.
