About the roleAs a Team Leader, Operations, you will lead a team of warehouse employees and temporary workers across Warehouse Operations, Assembly, and Order Fulfillment within our Venray Distribution Center. You will be responsible for delivering operational excellence by ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and service targets are consistently achieved.This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, solving operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics environment.

In this role, you will:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 15 employees and temporary workers.
• Ensure daily operational targets, productivity goals, and service levels are achieved.
• Create a flexible and high-performing team through training and cross-functional development.
• Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Support inventory accuracy, process compliance, and quality standards.
• Act as the first point of contact for operational and equipment-related issues.
• Identify and implement process and productivity improvements.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, HR, and other operational teams.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging working environment.
• Support operational continuity by providing backup coverage for fellow Team Leaders and Supervisors.

Our requirementsEducation & experience

• MBO Level 3 education or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Previous experience leading or coordinating operational teams is preferred.
• Experience working with temporary workforce management is an advantage.
• Familiarity with warehouse processes, order fulfillment, inventory management, and operational KPIs.

Technical skills

• Experience with warehouse management systems; Oracle experience is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to analyze operational data and identify improvement opportunities.
