In this role, you'll:

Lead a small, high-performing procurement team delivering operational procurement outcomes that support Transport's strategic priorities. You'll partner with stakeholders across the organisation, providing trusted advice, coaching team members and driving a customer-focused, solutions-oriented approach to procurement.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional who enjoys balancing people leadership with hands-on delivery, influencing outcomes, building strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to continuous improvement across procurement services. Drawing on your commercial acumen and sound judgement, you'll help ensure procurement activities are practical, compliant and deliver value for money.

About you

You’re an experienced procurement professional with strong knowledge of procurement principles and NSW Government procurement frameworks. A collaborative leader, you build capability in others, foster strong stakeholder relationships and deliver practical solutions in a complex environment.

You bring:

  • Experience leading and developing teams in a procurement or commercial environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to provide practical, risk-aware advice and influence decision-making.
  • Sound commercial judgement and a focus on outcomes.
  • Experience using procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba or similar.
