About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our team out of our Keysborough depot. A key focus of the team leader is to be able to successfully lead, organise and provide direction for employees to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results.

  • Lead and motivate the teams to deliver strong performance and a positive culture
  • Provide guidance to ensure the safe, timely delivery of connections and appointment work, meeting client and legislative requirements
  • Manage operational issues and emergency situations with sound judgement
  • Plan and deliver projects, budgets and contractor performance, ensuring appropriately skilled and qualified personnel are assigned to tasks
  • Work closely with peers and support teams to coordinate resourcing that enables delivery of the full works program
  • Build effective working relationships with customers and team members, using technical and system knowledge to support safe, efficient delivery and continuous improvement

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring proven leadership experience and strong working knowledge of electrical network operations.

  • Experience facilitating No Go Zone quotes and working closely with key stakeholders to support safe and compliant work delivery
  • The ability to manage and coordinate teams and resources to enable effective shutdown planning and execution
  • Willingness to participate in a rotating after‑hours fault response roster
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with customers, suppliers, staff and senior management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and SAP (highly regarded)
  • Certificate III ESI and/or relevant trade qualification (highly regarded), along with a current Australian Driver’s Licence
