Attractive Salary and Remuneration rate from $38.65 ph to $41.45ph base with penalty rates and allowances.

About the Role:

As the Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting participants with complex behaviours, ensuring they receive consistent, person-centred care in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. You’ll lead a dedicated team, provide hands-on support, and help shape a service that’s as unique and vibrant as the people we support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working a flexible roster including day supports, sleepovers, and weekend shifts

• Supporting participants in day to day activities and providing person-centred active care

• Leading and mentoring a passionate team of support workers

• Designing and implementing activities to support participant goals

• Coordinating care plans, documentation, and participant goals

• Collaborating with families, stakeholders, and your service coordination team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in disability or community services (Team Leader experience is a bonus)
  • A strong understanding of behaviour supports
  • Flexibility to work a combination of day and sleepover shifts, including weekends
  • A creative mindset and a passion for participant engagement
  • A values-driven leader who thrives in a collaborative environment

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
