To ensure effective management of factory operations with a focus on people development, compliance with safety and hygiene standards, and maintaining high-quality manufacturing processes. The role is responsible for coaching employees, enforcing standard operating procedures, ensuring smooth factory operations, and coordinating timely product launches in line with business objectives.

A Day in the Life…

  • Ensure timely deployment of the People Development Plan and assure team competencies through proper training, equipment use, safety procedures, and hygiene standards.
  • Enforce strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) by all personnel within the shift.
  • Coach employees to fulfill and exceed job requirements using the NCE approach.
  • Maintain clean and orderly working areas and installations, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Monitor and enforce personnel hygiene and safety practices, including protective clothing, shoe change, and hand washing.
  • Ensure continuous line control and take immediate corrective actions to maintain prescribed quality and compliance with manufacturing instructions.
  • Manage effective employee and industrial relations to ensure smooth factory operations.
  • Coordinate with the business unit to ensure timely launch of new products to the market.
  • Oversee adequate maintenance of installations in collaboration with quality, engineering, and administration teams.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Science, or Business).
  • Relevant experience in factory or manufacturing operations management.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven people management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in leading projects within a factory environment, including confronting inappropriate behavior positively and using everyday coaching to engage the workforce.
  • Experience with mass balance and mathematical calculations.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, at least Microsoft Office.
