Continental’s Data & Customer Solutions Information Technology Competence Center creates a wide range of digital solutions for Continental’s customers and internal stakeholders.

As Team Leader IT CC Data & Customer Solutions (DaCS) Lousado, the responsibilities will be the coordination and leading of a local CC team, assuring good connection to global CC organization and to the local organization (IT Hub), managing the department team in order to maximize and optimize the use of available resources, as well as enhance further development.

At the moment, the estimated dedication for this role is at least 50% of the total working time. This will be balanced with other technical tasks and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and further develop the CC DaCS of IT Hub, optimize the use of resources, supporting the expected growth and thereby ensure competitiveness;
  • Act as the disciplinary lead for the Lousado IT Hub CC DaCS employees, facilitating their continuous development, steering working content and workload distribution together with the global/functional team leads and Head of IT Hub Lousado, and aligning the team with local standards or matters;
  • Oversee the success of all IT services and projects managed or supported by the IT Hub, in close collaboration with global/functional team leads;
  • As member of the Global Management Team of CC DaCS, feed into global strategic IT initiatives and ensure consideration of the IT Hub’s needs;
  • Take ownership in executing strategic IT initiatives in the IT Hub and/or globally;
  • Support Head of IT Hub Lousado and the CC Head with the preparation and follow-up of annual financial budget and monthly forecasts for the IT Hub and the CC overall;
  • Implement personal development measures for the team in alignment with local HR, Head of IT-Hub Lousado, central team and external providers.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related qualification;
  • 3+ years of experience in development steering (in line and projects);
  • Experienced leader of complex projects, with technical complexity;
  • Steering development, and steering of small teams (e.g., in projects);
  • Basics of Controlling / Budget + Forecasting;
  • ITSM knowledge;
  • Supporting tools (e.g., Jira);
  • Experience with Agile methodologies;
  • Training and coaching skills;
  • Stakeholder focus and intercultural sensitivity;
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient English language skills (verbal; written).
