Job Description

Oversee daily operations within the home, supporting and supervising residential staff while ensuring high standards of care for children and young people.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support residential support workers
  • Ensure care plans are implemented and reviewed
  • Monitor the health, safety, and well-being of residents
  • Liaise with external agencies and attend reviews/meetings
  • Provide on-call support and contribute to the on-call rota

Qualifications and Essential Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a supervisory role within residential childcare
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory standards
  • Enhanced DBS check
