
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our door-to-door fundraising project in Oslo. In this permanent 70% position, you will play a key role in recruiting new regular donors and helping secure the funding that makes our independent medical humanitarian work possible around the world.
About the role
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for the daily management, development, and motivation of a team of door-to-door fundraisers. You will work closely with the Project Coordinator to build a strong team culture, support individual development, and ensure the team achieves its fundraising goals.
The role combines operational leadership with hands-on fundraising and offers valuable leadership experience within one of the world's leading humanitarian organizations. You will have direct responsibility for training, follow-up, and team building, while contributing to the success of one of MSF's most important fundraising channels. This is a job with a focus on personal growth, which contributes to invaluable experience for a further career, also in MSF.
Tasks:
• Training and follow-up of team members
• Maintain the team's motivation, punctuality, and results
• Logistical planning defined by the project coordinator
• Organize and participate in all team activities
• Follow up of results and budget in cooperation with the coordinator
• Daily reporting to the project coordinator
• Supporting administrative tasks when needed
Qualifications:
• Experience as a Team Leader and/or Fundraiser in fundraising. Experience from Médecins Sans Frontières is an advantage.
• Good team player, leader, and motivator
• Ability to convey information in an educational way
• Ability to show empathy and understanding towards team members
• Enjoy working outdoors
• Positive, solution-oriented, result-driven, and strong work ethic
• Flexible concerning the needs of the department
• English or Norwegian language skills at B2 level
• Driver's license is an advantage
We can offer:
• Salary according to MSF`s policy, 257kr per hour (MSF salary level 11)
• Normal working hours: kl 15:00-21:00
• 70% position position with preferred start date in early September
