This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in the field and in coordination. Someone who builds trust, develops people, and brings structure to dynamic, customer‑critical environments.

About ProCare at Stryker

ProCare is Stryker’s dedicated service and support division, focused on keeping life‑saving medical technology running at its best. Our Field Service Engineers support hospitals with the maintenance, repair, and optimisation of critical equipment whilst partnering closely with clinical teams to minimise downtime and support better patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Lead from the front - Balance time in the field with coordination and planning.
• Support engineers where it matters - Help prioritise work, manage escalations, and navigate complex service or customer situations with confidence and calm.
• Develop and grow talent - Coach Field Service Engineers across experience levels, supporting performance, progression, and readiness for future senior or lead roles.
• Build culture and connection - Be a visible, onsite leader for the Melbourne team — creating trust, engagement, and a strong sense of team.
• Coordinate service delivery - Plan resources across preventative maintenance, repairs, and field capacity to help support our customers.
• Partner across teams - Work closely with senior engineers, SMEs, and key stakeholders to align priorities and deliver consistent service outcomes.

Who You Are

• A natural leader - You may be a Lead FSE, acting team lead, or existing people leader. What matters is your ability to guide, influence, and support others.
• People‑focused and pragmatic - You build trust, have honest conversations, and focus on developing people.
• Calm under pressure - Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, customer‑critical environments and supporting others through challenging situations.
• Structured and adaptable - You bring clarity to complexity, prioritise effectively, and adjust quickly as needs change.
• Relationship‑driven - You build strong connections with engineers, customers, and stakeholders through presence and follow‑through.
• From a hands‑on environment - Backgrounds in field service, construction, managed services, or project‑led settings are a strong fit.
