About the Role

The Team Leader, Electronic Subscriptions & Discovery plays a critical leadership role in ensuring UOW Library’s scholarly collections remain relevant, high-value, and easy to discover for students, academics and researchers. Leading a specialist team, you will drive strategic vendor and publisher relationships, negotiate licensing agreements, and use data-driven insights to optimise access to electronic resources that support the University’s teaching, learning and research priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead acquisition, licensing and subscription activities.
  • Manage vendor and consortia relationships and negotiations.
  • Oversee collection usage analysis and ROI reporting.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing specialist team.

About the Team

Based within the Library, this role reports to the Senior Manager, Library Collections and leads the electronic subscriptions and discovery services function.

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant degree and eligibility for ALIA Associate Membership.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation experience.
  • Data analysis and reporting capability.
  • Experience managing library systems, resources and processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Continuing | Full-time

Level 6/7 | $96,898 - $119,986 + 17% superannuation

Location: Wollongong Campus
