Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our Taranaki team.

In this role, you’ll lead a crew delivering construction, maintenance, and fault response activities across our network. You’ll be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while supporting and developing your team to deliver great outcomes for our customers and community.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance technical delivery, crew leadership, planning, and stakeholder engagement.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
You’ll bring a combination of technical expertise and people leadership, along with:

• Relevant EWRB registration and current practising licence
• NZQA Level 4 qualification (or equivalent)
• Current Class 1 driver licence
• Strong knowledge of SMEI and safe electrical work practices
• Proven ability to plan, organise and deliver work programmes efficiently
• Sound communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• A commitment to Zero Harm and safe work practices

Desirable:

• Previous team leadership experience
• Glove & Barrier certification
• Heavy Trade licence
