Team Leader Customer Support | Manurewa Leisure Centre and Te Matariki Clendon Community Centre


You will be joining our team at Manurewa Leisure Centre and Te Matariki Clendon Community Centre.Our main goal is to inspire Aucklanders to be more active.

You only get one chance to make a fantastic first impression, and our Customer Service Team are the people that make it happen when Aucklanders visit our Centre.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day people management for all those function staff for whom the centre is their primary location, including performance management, personal development, and training, leave management etc.

You will ensure the services and programmes operate at a high standard and excel at meeting customer and community needs. This role had been created to champion fantastic customer service amongst our front-of-house team. We want our visitors to feel welcome from the moment they walk through our doors - that first encounter is crucial to ensuring that they will come back again.

This is an on-site position.The center operates a 7-day service, so reliability and commitment to work early, late, and weekend shifts are crucial for this role. This position requires a 7-day commitment across a variable roster.


He kōrero mōu: About you


You will have customer service management and at least 4 years of customer service experience. You will thrive on using your initiative to find improved ways of doing things and the opportunity to implement these.

You will have a passion for bringing out the best in your team and enjoy building relationships across a diverse range of internal & external customers. Ideally, you’ll hold a First Aid Certificate too.
