Position Requirements:
Required

  • People leadership with significant responsibility for coaching, performance management, and delivering results through others.
  • Progressive experience in AV/meeting space technologies or closely related domains (room design, control/DSP, UC room platforms, digital signage).
  • Proven vendor/partner management experience: performance accountability, SLAs, enhancement delivery, and effective escalation.
  • Strong stakeholder management across Facilities, Security, Compliance, RIM, Legal, and peer technology teams.
  • Experience planning and executing work in Agile-inspired ways while coordinating with construction stage-gates.
  • Systems thinking and integration awareness across AV, networking, identity, calendaring (Exchange), and monitoring.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; strong influencing skills; comfortable managing up with senior leaders in high-visibility situations.
  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; effective in ambiguity and fast-paced change.
  • Commitment to operational excellence, client-focused outcomes, and continuous improvement.


Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Expert-level depth in one AV discipline (e.g., DSP/control programming, video systems, room design, UC room platforms, digital signage, or AV-over-IP & networking)
  • Demonstrated ability to encourage innovation with purpose, promote collaboration/knowledge sharing, and build a positive, resilient team culture.


Relevant certifications (nice-to-have, not required):

  • AV & Design: AVIXA CTS / CTS-I / CTS-D.
  • Rooms & Platforms: Zoom Rooms / Zoom Admin; Microsoft Teams Rooms (OEM/partner) training.
  • AV-over-IP & Networking: Dante (Levels 1–3); CCNA (Enterprise/Collaboration) or equivalent vendor networking (e.g., Aruba/Juniper associate level).
  • Quality & QA: AQAV CQT – Certified Quality Technician-AV, CQD – Certified Quality Designer-AV, CQL – Certified Quality Leader-AV; familiarity with the AV9000 quality management standard.
  • Control/DSP: Crestron (e.g., Certified Programmer, DM-NVX), Q-SYS (Levels 1–3), Biamp Tesira, Shure IntelliMix.
  • Digital Signage: Appspace, BrightSign; visitor-management platform training where applicable.

Salary Information

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program.
