About the Role

We’re seeking a hands-on, safety-minded PFEP Team Leader – Breaking Room to join our team at our Minchinbury site. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities, supporting team performance, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate team members in the Breaking Room
  • Execute the daily production plan as directed by the Supervisor
  • Complete daily checklists and pre-operational hygiene documentation
  • Report equipment downtime and ensure machinery is operated safely
  • Support continuous improvement in WH&S, QA, and HACCP compliance
  • Train team members on correct processes, including lifting techniques and safe machinery use
  • Oversee cleaning, stock rotation (FIFO), and CIP (clean-in-place) processes
  • Support team coverage during breaks and maintain a clean, safe working environment

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a reliable, physically fit leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You’ll be a team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow and enforce operational procedures.

To be successful, you’ll bring

  • Forklift licence and relevant production experience
  • Physical fitness and ability to tolerate food production environments (including strong smells)
  • Basic computer skills and ability to complete documentation accurately
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
  • A safety-first mindset and commitment to following WH&S procedures
  • Experience in HACCP, hygiene protocols, and production equipment is a plus
