What you’ll do at our Eight Mile Plains clinic:

Therapy Service Delivery & Program Management

  • Conduct assessments appropriate to each client’s needs
  • Manage a discipline-specific caseload, including complex clients, using a case management approach
  • Develop, implement, review, and adjust tailored therapy programs aligned with client goals
  • Deliver therapy services across clinic, home, school, and community settings as required
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, educators, and stakeholders to optimise client outcomes
  • Develop and facilitate specialised programs, including group therapy and parent workshops
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry best practice and contribute to continuous service improvement
  • Ensure all client documentation, including service agreements, consent forms, risk assessments, therapy records, and reports, is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with privacy and confidentiality requirements

Therapy Planning & Intervention

  • Complete initial assessments and establish client-centred goals
  • Develop measurable therapy plans targeting identified areas of need
  • Prepare therapy resources, home programs, and session plans
  • Collaborate with other health professionals where required
  • Conduct school and home visits as appropriate
  • Monitor progress, review outcomes, and update therapy goals and programs
  • Complete client reviews and reports as required
  • Identify opportunities for additional services, programs, or disciplines and incorporate these into therapy planning where appropriate

Funding & Administration

  • Ensure therapy plans align with funding availability and funding requirements
  • Review NDIS plans where applicable to inform service delivery
  • Provide accurate and timely information to support invoicing and administration processes

Clinic Operations & Service Quality

  • Deliver evidence-informed therapy services that build on client and family strengths, needs, and priorities
  • Support inclusion and participation in community activities
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, families, and stakeholders
  • Participate in service evaluation, training, audits, and quality improvement activities
  • Ensure compliance with ESA Clinical Operational Standards and NDIS requirements
  • Audit client files, clinical notes, and activity records to support quality and compliance
  • Manage incidents and complaints in accordance with organisational policies

Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, performance coaching, and caseload support to team members
  • Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and maintain accurate records
  • Complete annual performance reviews and support career development planning
  • Contribute to workforce planning, leave management, and achievement of team performance targets
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning
  • Utilise professional development opportunities to strengthen leadership and clinical capability

Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, referrers, community organisations, and service providers
  • Participate in networking and relationship-management activities to support service growth
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships across internal and external teams
  • Comply with organisational policies, professional standards, child safety obligations, cultural competence requirements, and workplace health and safety procedures
  • Actively identify, manage, and mitigate risks to support safe, effective, and high-quality service delivery

What you’ll bring:

Experience/ Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership potential or experience within a multidisciplinary allied health team
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high quality evidence-based and goal-focused therapeutic intervention in an early intervention and/ or paediatric allied health setting
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve clinical, financial and quality KPIs and support team members to achieve their KPIs
  • Demonstrated senior clinical knowledge with significant experience in relevant discipline
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and time management skills
  • Exceptional observational and report writing skills

Qualifications / Compliance:

  • Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology
  • Registration with AHPRA or Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Current Drivers’ Licence and vehicle
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Accredited First Aid Certificate
