Job Description

We are looking for a Team Leader for our Accounts Payable team in Financial and Operational Procurement Services (FPS).

About the role

• Lead and provide daily work direction to the AP team delivering purchase invoice and accounts payable services across multiple Fortum countries.
• Ensure timely, high‑quality service to internal and external stakeholders in line with work instructions, competencies, and KPIs.
• Manage team performance by setting KPIs, providing regular feedback, coaching, and supporting training needs.
• Drive continuous improvement of S2P end‑to‑end process efficiency and effectiveness, including participation in development initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate work across end‑to‑end processes, ensuring cooperation, information sharing, and alignment with stakeholders.
• Manage AP tasks with ownership while collaborating closely with the global organization, suppliers, authorities, and other partners.
• Present results and performance in internal operational reviews.
• Participate in projects, trainings, and occasional business travel as required

About you

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably Accounts Payable in shared services environment.
• 3+ years of experience in Team Leader role.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting or related.
• Proven ability to lead teams or projects, including task prioritization and delegation.
• Solid know‑how, generated through experience and education, of purchase invoice and accounts payable processes, including at least one accounting transaction, workflow, or standard.
• Experience in business process development, including at least one improvement initiative (e.g. automation or AI‑driven solutions).
• Fluent communication and presentation skills in English.
• A collaborative mindset and well‑developed interpersonal skills.
