We have an opportunity for a Team Leader, Access & Outage Planning to lead a specialist team responsible for planning, coordinating and facilitating critical electricity network outages that keep our communities connected safely and reliably.

Based in Melbourne’s CBD, as part of our Access & Outage Planning team, you'll play a key role in balancing operational priorities, developing team capability and driving continuous improvement across network operations.

What you’ll help deliver

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of outage planning professionals, building capability and fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
  • Coordinate planned network outages to ensure safe access to the electricity network while minimising impacts on customers, costs and reliability outcomes.
  • Partner with Network Planning, Engineering, Control Room and project teams to prioritise work and deliver operational outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive process improvement, technology adoption and the ongoing optimisation of operational systems including ADMS and related planning tools.

You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:

  • Strong operational experience within electricity, transmission, distribution, renewables, power generation, data centres or a related critical infrastructure environment.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience with a passion for coaching, mentoring and developing teams through change and growth.
  • The ability to make sound decisions under pressure, balance competing priorities and build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Technical knowledge of electricity network operations, outage planning or safe network access practices, supported by relevant industry experience, training or qualifications.
