Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional academic support services? Griffith University’s Health Group is seeking an experienced and motivatedTeam Leader - Academic & Program Servicesto lead our dedicated program services team and help shape a high-quality, student-centred learning experience.

As the Team Leader, you’ll provide operational leadership across course and program administration, guiding a collaborative team that supports the Group's academic programs. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient and consistent program services, managing a discrete portfolio, and contributing to continuous improvement and strategic planning.

This is your chance to lead from the front, solving complex challenges, implementing process improvements, and building strong partnerships that enhance both student engagement and academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a high-performing team across the Gold Coast and Logan-Nathan campuses.
  • Deliver high-quality administrative support for academic programs and courses within the Group.
  • Provide expert advice on program management, review processes, and student engagement strategies.
  • Identify and implement improvements that enhance the student experience and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve strategic goals aligned with the Group and University.
  • Manage key projects and reporting aligned to operational and strategic outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, continuous improvement, and service excellence.

About you

You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications with at least four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of skills and experience.

You will also have:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex processes and deliver improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to solving problems.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding service and contributing to a positive student experience.

What we can offer

This is a fixed-term (until 12 April 2028), full-time position based at Griffith University Logan. As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range

The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 7 range $104,504 - $113,219 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $122,270 - $132,466 per annum.
