About the Role

Facilitate Manufacturing operations to supply products of high quality with the maximum utilization of resources available, at optimum cost to meet Organizational and Marketing requirements in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Garment and Footwear change requirements on entry to f actory and manufacturing/Filling/Packing areas as instructed in the relevant SOPs.
  • Maintain strict personal hygiene as instructed in the relevant SOPs to prevent contamination of products particularly after using cloak room and toilets after breaks.
  • Adhere to principals of Good Manufacturing Practice.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of machines to achieve the production targets of the division.
  • Careful handling of team/machine/facility and area in accordance with relevant manuals and SOPs.
  • Inform any unusual noises, breakdowns or any stoppages immediately to section head/Engineering.
  • Maintain relevant documents are maintained on time and data sheets are filled accurately.
  • Complete the BMR without any documentation errors
  • Ensure continuous monitoring of the facility operation during processing.
  • Ensure knowledge transferring and documentation where necessary, to develop new team members with continuous observation.
  • Implement and participate in waste minimization or continuous improvement activities in relevant work areas.
  • Ensure relevant team is lead as expected by management.
  • Ensure to have overall supervision of the process, maintaining required conditions, documentation, and control procedures in place.
  • Involve with MERP system activities to support day to day production operations.
  • Support other departments during job rotation opportunities when required considering the business need and individual development need
  • Support and involve co-workers, EPTs, supervisors, and management to meet organizational goals.

EHS Responsibilities & Commitment

  • Follow and ensure compliance on EHS policies and Guidelines.
  • On-time reporting of EHS violations.
  • Report Near miss incident.
  • Reporting of accidents.
  • Follow lifesaving rules and personnel engagement EHS programs in the site.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
  • Candidates must possess G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) and G.C.E.
  • Advanced Level (A/L) qualifications, with preference given to those from a science background.
  • Technical qualifications relevant to the manufacturing industry and certification in Quality Management Systems will be considered advantageous.
  • Additionally, a Diploma in Manufacturing, Management, or a related discipline, and/or a Pharmacist qualification, will be regarded as added qualifications.
