Hours:37.5 / 39 hours
Salary £33,002.12+ shift allowance
We’re seeking a Team Leader to manage a team of people with the objective of making sure that output levels are achieved whilst maintaining high levels of quality and customer service.

What you’ll be doing:
Deliver production in line with plans issued by the Planning team
Manage colleague attendance and ensure absence records are completed accurately
Support colleague performance through regular appraisals and development plans
Ensure colleagues are trained to achieve production, quality, and efficiency targets
Lead weekly team briefings and communicate key updates
Promote Health & Safety by following legislation, conducting audits, and supporting accident investigations
Support HR processes, mentor team members, and foster a positive, no-blame culture
Drive continuous improvement by developing Lean manufacturing practices and contributing to site business objectives.
Who we’re looking for:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong planning, organisation, and leadership abilities
Confident presenting ideas, motivating others, and promoting teamwork
Knowledge of production and management systems in medium to large batch manufacturing
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Previous experience in a Team Leader or similar supervisory role is desirable
Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and behavioural safety practices
Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools and woodworking machinery
