About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our team at Raffertys Resort, Cams Wharf. This is a site-based leadership role where you'll co-lead a dedicated team of five, ensuring the resort's gardens, grounds, and outdoor facilities are maintained to the highest standard.

This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading by example, and delivering exceptional results in a high-profile resort environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-lead and support a team of five maintenance professionals.
• Coordinate and undertake horticultural and grounds maintenance activities.
• Ensure the presentation and upkeep of gardens, landscaped areas, and outdoor facilities.
• Plan and prioritise daily maintenance tasks to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment and promote safe work practices.
• Carry out general site maintenance duties as required.
• Assist with pool maintenance, including water testing and routine upkeep (training can be provided where required).
• Liaise professionally with site management and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Trade Certificate in Horticulture or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising maintenance or horticultural teams.
• Strong knowledge of horticultural practices and landscape maintenance.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and support a team.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality work and outstanding customer service.
• Experience in pool maintenance and water testing is advantageous but not essential.

Availability

As Raffertys Resort operates 365 days a year, this role requires flexibility to work across a rotating seven-day roster Team members are rostered to ensure site coverage every day of the year, with overtime and applicable penalty rates paid for weekend and public holiday work.
