As a Team Leader, you will lead a Portfolio Managers team to deliver service levels, recovery targets, and quality expectations. You will take ownership of team performance, driving productivity, accountability, and consistency in outcomes, while working closely with Operations and Client Success to meet client requirements and optimise performance.

What You’ll Be Doing;

  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Portfolio Managers, strengthening capability in collections, negotiation, and customer engagement.
  • Portfolio Performance: Drive achievement of collections targets by ensuring consistent account coverage, follow-ups, and effective portfolio management across your team.
  • Portfolio Allocation: Manage file distribution and workload across the team, ensuring new and existing accounts are actioned promptly and efficiently.
  • Operational Compliance Ensure all team activity aligns with collections’ strategies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, supporting consistent SLA delivery.
  • Coaching & Escalations: Identify performance gaps through call reviews and data insights, while supporting your team with guidance on complex cases and non-standard decisions.

What You’ll Bring;

  • Leadership Experience: Experience leading teams within collections or credit industry.
  • Results Focus: Proven ability to deliver against KPIs, service levels, and financial targets.
  • Coaching Capability: Strong ability to improve performance through structured coaching and feedback.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of collections environments and driver of recovery outcomes.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to influence, challenge, and drive accountability across your team.
