RATES STARTING AT $22.50-$26.50/hour (based on experience)

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Team Lead is responsible for assisting and supporting Supervisor Operations 1 in directing, training and monitoring the machine operators on assigned shift to meet or exceed the manufacturing and quality standards of the company which includes secondary operation or assembly of finished devices as part of a team or as the lead of a team. The Lead is responsible for producing product that meets customer quality and on time requirements while keeping costs from time and materials at or below the stand. The position is responsible for follow-ups and ensuring that direct reports follow organizational policies and procedures. Must have a thorough knowledge of all tasks performed by production.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ATTENDANCE IS PARAMOUNT. All associates are required to report to their scheduled shift on time and work their entire shift.
• Maintain a professional attitude towards coworkers and company.
• Clean assigned workstations.
• Must comply with the company’s quality system, GMP, SOP, and KOP requirements and all safety policies.
• Must be able to meet all company documentation requirements.
• Requisition parts from materials via pick list generated in IQ.
• Request set-up as required from productions.
• Inspect components prior to molding or assembly to verify that product is acceptable prior to performing any additional operations.
• Set up work area.
• Able to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Obtain any additional required or supplemental documentation.
• Submit product to QA for FA inspection.
• Perform all molding and assembly tasks at or below time standards on BOM.
• Keep all scrap at or below standards.
• Complete PWO’s, count parts either by hand or weigh count, generate labels, and move parts to outside packaging.
• Disposition components using IQ production reporting.
• Complete Close/Out Line Clearance form and submit to supervisor along with scrap reports and requests to return to stock.
• Must be able to communicate well with production and assembly, QA, scheduling and shipping.
• Communicate any opportunities for improvement to supervisor.
• Must be able to use IQ, Real Time, Inventory, and print PWO.
• Aids in the selection and evaluation of temporary employees to perform as Machine Operators or Assemblers
• Performs training as a packer to use the Scanner system
• Must be adapt in using computers and MS-Windows operating system
• Ability to move around in and perform basic MS-Excel functions without difficulty.
• Familiar with the use and function of Outlook for email and meetings email.
EXPECTATION:
• Required – Three (3) years experience in injection molding environment.
• One (1) year experience in supervisory/lead role.
• Preferred - Experience in biomedical or pharmaceutical industry. Familiar with ultrasonic welding and pad printing processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent)
EXPERIENCE:
• Must be 18 years of age
• No experience necessary

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to do repetitive work
• Ability to read, understand and follow specification sheets
• Basic mathematical skills to understand variation
• Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Light work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
• Excellent vision & hand-eye coordination
• Extended periods of bending, lifting, standing, and sitting
• Significant use of hands
• Frequently required to lift up to 30 lbs
• Must be able and willing to wear personal protective equipment as required including:
◦ Protective eyewear
◦ Hair net
◦ Protective gowning (lab coat, hood)
