About the team:


Our SEQ network maintenance team are an integral part of managing the maintenance and reliability of our SEQ rail network, ensuring the track is safe and reliable for the people of Queensland.

As a Team Leader working from our Redbank Track Depot working with the Production Team - South, you will supervise a small team in day to day operations and ensure they are fully resourced for each job. At times you will be required to act as Track Production Supervisor. The key focus is ensuring a safety focused team, followed by ensuring a timely and high-quality service is met.

Daily overview:

  • Collect work list and ensure all the correct equipment is in the truck or getting to site.
  • Ensure the team are working safely and with the appropriate PPE.
  • Ensure the team are working to the standard expected, you are held accountable for the quality of the completed works.
  • Liaise with the Supervisor on how works are progressing and problem solve issues.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday day shift. Usually 0700 - 1530
  • Nights every 2nd Monday and Tuesday
  • Weekends 0600 – 1630
  • Roughly every second weekend either rostered or overtime
  • Travel outside of SEQ cyclically for up to 5 nights at a time
