About the role

The Security Team Lead is responsible for providing a strong and professional security presence while overseeing daily site operations and supporting the security team. This role focuses on maintaining a safe environment, responding to incidents, and ensuring high standards of customer service. The Team Lead will also build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders while guiding and supporting officers to deliver effective security outcomes.

In this role you will:

• Lead and support security officers during daily operations
• Conduct patrols and oversee site lock-ups and unlocks
• Monitor CCTV and coordinate responses to incidents
• Direct roving officers during alarms or security events
• Communicate operational issues via radio, phone, and logs
• Maintain accurate reports and documentation
• Support the Supervisor with site operations and team guidance
• Ensure reporting procedures are followed
• Maintain high client service and security standards

Skills & Experience

• Current SA Security Licence

• Current SA Driver’s Licence

• Certificate II in Security Operations

• NV1 Security Clearance

• Australian Citizenship (required for clearance)

• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments

• Flexibility to work on a rotating roster
